Esperanza Cervantes Anderson

Esperanza Cervantes Anderson

Sole Practitioner
Pasadena, California
A California native, Esperanza Cervantes Anderson graduated from Stanford University in 1993 and obtained her JD from Georgetown Law School in 1996.  Following graduation from law school, Ms. Anderson worked for such notable firms as Snell & Wilmer, Reed Smith and Berry & Lussier (a boutique firm made up of former Jones Day attorneys), representing Fortune 500 companies.  As a defense attorney, Ms. Anderson learned how employers, and defense counsel, analyze a case for settlement, and how employers work up a case for trial.
In 2009, Ms. Anderson began focusing entirely on representing plaintiffs in a large variety of employment matters, including but not limited to wrongful termination, harassment and discrimination on the basis of race, sex, disability, religion, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and whistle-blower retaliation.  Ms. Anderson’s experience as a former employment defense attorney makes her uniquely suited to providing the best, most effective representation to plaintiffs.
Unlike other attorneys, Ms. Anderson is personally available to her clients, answering their questions directly, instead of passing them off to other staff.  Ms. Anderson understands the difficulties employees have getting away to make weekday appointments.  Under certain special circumstances, Ms. Anderson will make arrangements to meet with clients after hours or on Saturday.
